Blogmas: Day 4!

It's Day 4 of Blogmas!
Somehow having that picture just makes it even more official haha.
I am currently writing this post while burning Yankee Candle's Sparkling Snow, which was a Christmas present from RY last year. It smells amazing and it makes me even more excited for Christmas BECAUSE IT SMELLS LIKE CHRISTMAS.
Today was a pretty uneventful day because we had BCR day, which is like e-learning and then I had CCA at night, which was pretty fun and there was a lot of laughter which is always nice.
We should always laugh because that's how we get through life (:

Anyway, for Blogmas Day 4, I'm gonna recommend some movies you can catch during this wonderful month of December.

I watched this movie with my sisters and I thought it was absolutely adorable. This is probably one of Disney's best 'musical movie' to date. This movie is definitely a movie for the whole family to watch together. The story revolves around these 2 sisters, Anna and Elsa, with Elsa having these special abilities to conjure up snow and ice. One interesting fact I found out is that Elsa is actually supposed to be Disney's imagining of the Snow Queen. They've always wanted to do a movie surrounding the Snow Queen but because Hans Christian Anderson's version of the Snow Queen is rather grim (as with all his other fairytales) and Disney wanted to make the Snow Queen a lot more humanised. After years and years of hard work, I can confidently say that they have succeeded with Frozen. Definitely a must-see!
Frozen is in cinemas now.

Aaah, a classic must always be included right?
If you haven't watched Home Alone, please do. It's a hilarious story about a boy who was stuck home alone and these robbers come to the house. Its definitely a feel good movie that the whole family can sit down with mugs of hot chocolate and enjoy.

This movie is actually pretty epic and really well done! Rise of the Guardians surround around the myths of the world: Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Sandman and the Tooth Fairy and introducing one myth that is a little less well-known: Jack Frost. An enjoyable movie that I'm certain even adults will enjoy. It's actually rather nostalgic, this one. With the kids enjoying watching the legends come to life onscreen, the adults can enjoy as well because it reminds them of their childhood and the stories that their parents used to tell them. It truly is a wonderful and enjoyable movie. I recently watched it again with my sisters and they fell in love with the whole movie.
You might find the voices pretty familiar in this movie, by the way. With Santa Claus being voiced by Alec Baldwin, Tooth Fairy voiced by Isla Fisher, the Easter Bunny by Hugh Jackman (swoon), the Boogeyman by Jude Law (double swoon) and Jack Frost by Chris Pine (triple swoon), this is definitely a movie you'll enjoy this holidays.
Sidenote: Jack Frost is pretty adorable for an animated character.

Finally, this movie is A. MUST. WATCH.
Perhaps not so much for young kids, but Love Actually IS ACTUALLY AMAZING.
With these different stories surrounding different people around the time of Christmas, you are definitely in for a treat! This movie is both funny and sad and definitely all heartwarming. The tagline of the movie is: The Ultimate Romantic Comedy and I wholeheartedly agree.
This was probably the movie that sparked off all the others that tried copying this idea. Movies like New Year's Eve, or What to Expect When You're Expecting.
This was the original one guys, this one changed the definition of romantic comedy I kid you not.

Alright, that's it for Blogmas Day 4!
Have a wonderful December guys!
