Blogmas Day 13

I do apologise that I wasn't able to update on Blogmas because I was in China and China apparently blocked Blogger.
HAHA.
Anyway, hello! It's been some time, hasn't it?
I literally left the day after school and it felt really good to finally be able to leave Singapore for a bit and chill and LEAVE MY WORK BEHIND.
My day was a good day because I finally got to sleep in (but not too in, else I would have missed my flight.) and then get up, and get to the airport and get on that plane.
It was a long journey (about 5 and a half hours) and by the time we reached Beijing, it was midnight.
I watched a few shows on the plane and it was just so comforting to have the opportunity to finally relax.
One great thing about the social media networks being banned in China was that I chose to spend more time talking to my family, rather than wasting my time away on social media.
It was a good time to just set my phone aside and talk to them and really grow as a family.
I keep telling people that China was life-changing for me.
Why?
Because it was where I chose to change the ways I lived and to really become a better daughter, a better sister, a better grand-daughter and a better person in general.
China taught me not to take anything for granted, not even freedom, and to really open my eyes because everywhere and anything is beautiful.
