Semester break has started. What is the meaning of break?
To rest, after a long period of working hard in school.
That's not exactly happening.
When I signed up for all those things I did a while back, I asked myself: Was I pushing myself too much? Was I making myself do more things than necessary?
The answer now is: Yes, yes I was.
Do I regret it?
Not at all.
It may be tiring, yes, but I'm learning so many new things as I go for each activity. I meet new people, experience new experiences and learn something I never knew before.
First off, 112 happened (you can read it about in the previous blog post entitled: 112), which was then followed by cell retreat, then leadership camp in Melaka, CHORUS meeting and Christmas Outreach rehearsal and TCP camp next week.
I shall now attempt to recount the things that have taken place.
1. Cell retreat:
Planning for cell retreat started back in August when V and A asked me if I was interested in being a part of the comm to plan for the retreat, which I said I was. So it was me, A, smaller A, J, smaller J, and V. Planning didn't take too much but it was nice getting together and discussing about the retreat and what we wanted to get out of it and whatnot. I truly looked forward to the retreat as each week passed by. The retreat was awesome from the start. It took a little while for us to adjust, but then throughout the retreat, I could tell that people had fun and we did worship Him more, and learn more during the sessions. I hoped that our message of us growing closer to God and letting go, and letting Him guide got through to them because that is ultimately what the whole retreat was for.
I can't tell you how thankful I am for this wonderful cell group. Everyone's just so joyful and helpful and I love them all. They're honestly like my family.

2. Leadership Camp:
I wasn't looking forward to it THAT much in the beginning because I only knew D who was going but ultimately, I had fun during the camp. I met a lot of new people I never knew existed before and became better friends with people I sort of knew before as well. The only mishap was that D and I overslept on the second day and kind of delayed the program (oops.) but overall, it was pretty awesome.

3. CHORUS Meeting/ First Christmas Outreach Drama Rehearsal:
CHORUS is the name of my church's magazine and I'm a part of the editorial staff! Which is awesome, by the way. The meeting was about our December issue and I always look forward to them. The meetings are always fun and hilarious. And we also had the first rehearsal for the Christmas production and it was really nice. I met new people and laughed like crazy.
Things have been crazy these holidays but nope, no regrets.
