Well, I have had 2 weeks of school... Ok, I had 3 days of camp and then 3 days of school... That counts as 2 weeks, right?
Anyway, we had 3 days of camp which was fun. I learnt a lot of cheers I've never heard before, which was surprisingly... and new. And there are a lot of very friendly people in school.
I mean that in a good way.
I'm very blessed to be in such an active and sociable school.
[Pouring out true feelings now]
I'm an insanely friendly kid but when it comes to orientation camps, I usually just shut up. I'm not sure why but I just feel like people don't act themselves at camp, which really irks me.
I don't want to be that girl who everyone loves to hate because she's 'so active and always vying for attention' even though I know you really shouldn't listen to people's words and just be yourself and all that typical shit but honestly, who listens to that advice?
It's true, but hard to do isn't it?
Especially in a world where first impressions matter most.
So no, I wasn't the most sociable person during camp. I was probably the most awkward though.
This is the reason why I'm so grateful for insanely sociable people around me. At least things don't get too awkward, right?
The seniors are really nice as well and helpful (which I am so thankful for) and the best thing ever?
Everyone is crazy. That's what I love the most about my school. Everyone's just crazy.
Which is good because then I know I can be crazy.
Albeit, I still haven't gotten used to the new school and the lifestyle that comes with it, considering that I've been sheltered for 4 years in my previous school (that's right, I said it, sheltered) but there have been really nice people here so it's not that difficult to adjust.
And then school started, which was great because after 5 months with no school, I was surprisingly eager to get back and start learning again (I sound like such a nerd, but it's true. You try not going to school for 5 months.)
Our lectures have been going okay so far... It's only been introduction so it's not that overwhelming.
The lecturers all seem very wonderful so I'm definitely looking forward to a good semester.
All in all, I'm pretty excited about starting this new journey in this new school.
Other than having to climb that bloody hill everyday, it's been going really well.
Until next time.
